Nurses / Home Health Aide / Attendant Care / Direct Care Staff

We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to become members of the Help At Home team of professionals. We service individuals requiring the assistance of nurses, home health aides, attendants, homemakers, and direct care staff for the developmentally disabled

As a Help At Home staff member, you will be assisting clients with activities of daily living, meals, safety needs and helping them with housekeeping and/or essential errands.

The Help At Home located in  Terre Haute, IN is currently servicing the following counties   Vigo, Vermillion, Parke, Clay, Putnam, and Sullivan and is hiring for the following positions:  
Skilled Home Health Positions:  

  • Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA
  • Registered Home Health Aide
  • Registered Nurse – RN
  •  Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN

Home Care Services

  • Attendant Care
  • Homemaker

Developmentally Disabled Services

  • Direct Care Staff
  • Qualified Developmental Disability Professional

Job Requirements

Home Health Aide / Care Giver / Personal Care / Direct Support
  • High School Diploma or Degree
  • Will provide training
  • Clean criminal history
  • Must have a valid Indiana driver's license and have access to a reliable automobile with current auto insurance coverage
  • Must be able to speak clearly and distinctly
  • Must have visual, hearing and mental ability to initiate and comprehend written and verbal communication
  • Must be able to perform tasks involving physical activity, such as heavy lifting, extensive bending, and standing
  • Must be able to stay calm in emergency situations
  • Must be willing to travel between client sites in inclement weather
  • Must be willing to make scheduled visits on weekends or evenings when assigned
  • Must be willing to accept assignments without regard to location, socio-economic environment, disease, ethnic origin or religion


  •  In addition to above requirements 6 months hands-on experience providing care to individuals is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass 100 question written exam with 80% or better
  • Must be able to pass skills competency evaluation
  • Must pass physical examination and drug test.


  • Unrestricted Indiana nursing license
  • Current clinical experience
  • Minimum 1 year nursing experience
  • Good references
  • Clean criminal background
  • Willing to travel
