We are a large regional provider of services for the developmentally disabled with offices in various states. Our business is continually growing and we are seeking an energetic individual with a drive to continue our success. We currently have a Full-time Residential Director position in our Chicago Illinois office. This is a salaried position with full benefits.
The Residential Director will:


  • Implements and interprets service and operations policies for all new contracts;

  • Organizes and administers all services and operation with the services area;



  • Responsible for overseeing the recruitment, screening, selection and training for all field staff and Q’s



  • Delegates duties and establishes proper accountability for branch staff;



  • Supervises and directs service and operations of staff;



  • Prepares and submits reports to the Director of DD services;



  • Maintains liaison with local contracting entity with regard to contract services and operations;



  • Prepare monthly billing report for the branch location;



  • Conduct internal branch audits every 6 months on the branch location;



  • Arbitrates grievances reported from field or staff personnel and consumers;



  •  To ensure the performance of a comprehensive functional assessment with ensuing development of an Individual Service Plan (ISP) for each client yearly.



  • To ensure and monitor the implementation of each client’s ISP.



  • To provide staff training to the staff responsible for implementation of each ISP and ensure staff are knowledgeable in the interventions necessary to implement the ISPs.



  • To perform evaluation, revision and monitoring of consumer services.



  • To ensure that all client needs are assessed and addressed through active treatment services.



  • To coordinate personnel provision and training with Director of DD Services to meet service needs.



  • Assist the Director of DD services in developing a branch structure with will create a profitable branch.



  • Motivate and develop staffing supervisors to increase growth and business development.



  • Develop pay scale that are competitive with the current competition pay rate for the branch location.



  • Monitor and develop procedures that will stream line office operations.



  • Reports to the Director of DD Services as required.



  • Provides information and supports systems



  • Provides recruitment and retention of staff



  • Provides physical and financial assets



    Minimum Qualifications:





    • Minimum Five (5) years experience in social service administration and management experience with multi branch offices.


      /OR/



    • Minimum Five (5) years experience in the provision of in-home services to the elderly and/or disabled


      /OR/



    • A degree from an accredited four-year institution; AND



    • Excellent oral and written communication skills; AND



    • Possess a demonstrated ability to organize, administer, and evaluate on-going services in a multi-phased operation; AND



    • Have a strong working knowledge of all program rules, procedures, and Company rules and procedures.




Job Requirements

  • A Social Service degree from an accredited four-year institution; AND



  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; AND



  • Possess a demonstrated ability to organize, administer, and evaluate on-going services in a multi-phased operation; AND



  • Have a QIDP and DSP certification through Illinois already is a plus; AND

  • The ability to expand and market for growth within the region; AND

  • Have a strong working knowledge of all program rules, procedures, and Company rules and procedures.
