Job Description


Help At Home, LLC is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee our local Poplar Bluff Missouri office. This is a well established office with large growth potential for the right candidate. The candidate should have an understanding of Home Care Service, highly organized, motivated and a great communicator.

Overview:



The main focus of this position is to oversee the branch office daily operations to ensure quality services delivery to all Clients, within contract, State, Federal and Company regulations, policies and procedures.  This position reports directly to the Area Manager.



 Responsibilities:



  • Staff and maintain client and employee schedules;



  • Monitor compliance of health assessment and TB testing of each employee;



  • Interview new applicants and process applications in accordance with Company policies and procedures;



  • Hire and train qualified applicants in accordance with Company and State policies, procedures and regulations;



  • Ensure client and employee files are maintained in accordance with Company policy, including completion of input forms and their submission to Data Entry in the corporate office;



  • Coordinate field staff performance appraisals;



  • Coordinate recognition program with the Area Manager;



  • Communicate with case managers and other referral sources;



  • Prepare service reports for State-specific contracts;



  • Coordinate time slips and complete payroll entry forms for submission to Payroll;



  • Supervise and coordinate the Field Staff Supervisor and Nurses;



  • Set up and coordinate field staff training classes, teaching all or part of the training as necessary;



  • Verify Medicaid eligibility for all Medicaid-only clients;



  • Place and monitor employment advertising under the supervision and with the approval of the Area Manager;



  • Process authorizations to ensure updated information is documented on the clients’ schedules and in the computer system;



  • Coordinate the opening of new cases with the Nurse, Field Staff Supervisor and/or others trained to open cases;



  • Document all calls regarding clients on the corresponding client’s calendar or the case recording sheet;



  • Document all employee telephone calls on the employee calendars or client’s calendars, where appropriate, including call-offs, sick and vacation days, tardiness, etc.;



  • Coordinate payables and submit to the corporate office in a timely manner;



  • Handle unemployment claims as directed by the Area Manager and/or Regional Vice President;



  • Monitor and maintain petty cash account;



  • Perform monthly service calls to all clients to ensure workers are performing to standards and the client is completely satisfied with their services;



  • Calculate weekly case count and fax to the Regional Vice President and the Area Manager;



  • Schedule, coordinate and monitor employee in-service training; AND



  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by the Area Manager and/or Regional Vice President.








Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:




•    Twenty-one (21) years of age;




•    High school diploma or GED;




•    CNA or LPN /OR/ Two (2) years home care/in-home service experience;




•    Supervisory experience;




•    Demonstrate oral and written communication skills;




•    Possess a demonstrated ability to organize, administer, and evaluate on-going services in a multi-phased operation;  AND




•    Have a strong working knowledge of all program rules, procedures, and Company rules and procedures.





Work Hours:



8:00am-5:00pm, but may vary as needed.
