Job Description

Help at Home is hiring an Office Support person for our Fort Wayne office. This is a full-time administrative position with full benefits.


Overview:

The main focus of this position is to encourage and provide patient satisfaction while maintaining operational compliance with company policy and State & Federal guidelines. This position reports directly to the supervising RN.

Responsibilities:

● Answer phones promptly and direct calls as appropriate. Take clear and detailed messages.

● Effectively communicate scheduling and changes with patient, employee and Supervising RN

● Perform duties in accordance with all State and Federal regulations and company policy and procedures

● Fill open Home Health Aide shifts as determined by Supervising RN, if appropriate

● Must maintain patient confidentiality

● Assist in maintaining patient and employee files and all related paperwork

● Assist with patient staffing needs as directed by the Supervising RN

● Assist with initial application process

● Assist with in-service training and materials as directed by the Supervising RN

● Assist with mailing and tracking of documents as directed by the Supervising RN

● Assist with QA/PI activities as directed by the Supervising RN

● Assist with on-call duties as directed by the Supervising RN

● Other duties as assigned


Work Hours:

8:00am-5:00pm, but may vary as needed

Job Requirements

Office Support/Home Health Aide Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a Home Health Aide or able to pass the competency evaluation to become a home health aide.
  • Recognizes the needs and concerns of people and maintains constructive working relationships when dealing with them
  • Willing to work towards the good of the team
  • Previous experience providing personal care to the elderly, children and developmentally disabled individuals.
  • Clear Criminal background check
  • Dependable vehicle
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
